      About this Artwork

The singing tree Maybe it were the memories of some old forgotten dreams that kept coming back to me or it was some fairy tale that I had heard or read when I was a little boy. He felt as if he had been walking for hours and hours but now he was hungry and tired. All that he wanted now was to curl himself into a small little ball and go to sleep in his mother’s lap and when he awoke as always, she would be there to cuddle him and give him something to eat. There in front of him it was as if the giant tree was beckoning him with the huge branches stretched out like welcoming arms. Curling himself between the two big roots he went off to sleep while the tree sang him to sleep with his favourite lullaby.
