About this Artwork
A tool that I developed to teach my oil painting students how to efficiently mix colors through using Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and White. It is the best method I know to train the color sense of budding artists. To begin, pick any two color paints that you wish to use and find them on the diagram; draw a straight line connecting them; the colors crossed by that line are the results from mixing those paints together in varying amounts.
