About this Artwork
This “self-portait” was my venture into abstract
photo manipulation. My experimentation yielded a face of perpetual decay. Within, lies a restless force that sustains, yet
destroys. It’s skin, charred like a sun-baked animal hide, and crackles like weathered metal.
