Genius Loci is one of a series of paintings themed "Ancestral Journeys". It depicts the metaphysical aspects of the variegated landscapes encountered over many generations of migration and the continuous reconstruction of the notion of home: the spiritual and emotional place of belonging, where our lives are constantly renewed and nurtured against the backdrop of an ever-changing world.
