      About this Artwork

Looking for a new land A lonely group of weary travellers had been desperately wandering from country to a new country for more than many decades forever searching for the promised paradise. They had travelled through dry lands, fertile green lands with forests and lakes of fresh water. A few of the original dwellers had welcomed them but often these inhabitants had been hostile at the idea of the new strangers living among them and taking away from them their land to build their new homes , taking away their women folk to be their spouses and raise new families. They would be taking away their means of livelihood which they themselves needed to feed their own families. But it worried mainly the leaders of these peoples that the new strangers with their new ideas would influence their followers to rebel against what they themselves were preaching and become the new leaders of the community. But for the present now lying on the horizon of the dreams of these strange voyageurs there lay before them this haven where they could rest their tired feet and eat the fruits of this new paradise or Garden of Eden.
