About this Artwork
Every Sunday when she went to church Mrs. Pumpkin would wear her special hat.
It was like some regular ritual; every Sunday Mts. Pumpkin could be seen on her way to church with her large floral hat perched on her head like some trophy that she had won after a hard struggle. It appeared as if she were shouting out aloud to everyone who could see and hear that she too had the right to be like the other ordinary people.
