      About this Artwork

One21Seventeen is a figurative abstract painting that represents the current women's movement which began January 21st 2017. Inspiration for this painting came from my wife and daughter and how I see the current political environment infringing upon their rights. This piece is a vectorized reproduction of my original painting created with the same paints I use for my rocks. I chose to have this painting vectorized because the paints used for my rocks do not cover the canvas as typical oil paints do. Therefore vectorizing the painting fills in the gaps.
