About this Artwork
The Taming of the Minotaur is a mixed media drawing (pencil, acrylic) from the Minotaur series which is my research into the nature of masculine and masculine-feminine relationships including withing one being. In this particular work I show the conversation between a calm intellectual understanding source (Girl) and a wild animal sensual and emotional entity (Minotaur). Could be also seen as a conversation between two sides of human nature - purely human (intellect, mind) and animal (feelings and emotions).
