About this Artwork
I created this using ancient Japanese sumi-e style brushwork, combined with modern Japanese Riso printing. Here, analogue and digital work in harmony.
The torii gates of Japan are there to mark the entrance to Shinto shrines. They mark the entrance to a sacred space.
This work was part of a collection that was shortlisted for the FINALS of the Antalis Creative Power Award 2022.
