Vastus is a self-taught digital artist currently based out of Finland. Having grown up with a passion for drawing and painting, Vastus began learning Photoshop and experimenting with photo manipulation around the age of 12. His early enthusiasm for creating is still reflected in his work today, as he draws much inspiration from the art, design, movies and music of the 80’s and 90’s, an era of eccentric effects and vibrant colors. Glitch art is another fascination that influences Vastus’ creative experimentations. For him, creating is about doing what he feels like and not restricting himself to a certain style, look or medium. Although 3D design and photo manipulation occupy his artistic talents at the moment, Vastus spends a lot of time learning new techniques and trying out new software to create even more unique pieces in the future.
